Happy almost New Year! It's almost been a month since I lasted posted. Finals were a whirlwind, packing up my room and leaving Atlanta were also stressful. I won't be back there for the next 8 months. I still haven't fully realized that. Trust me, when I get out of the shock, I will be ecstatic. It's been so nice to be in San Francisco. I was thinking how some of my friends have to fly back home to little villages in various states, and it's probably snowing there now too. I get to fly back to San Francisco. Lucky me. The city is especially beautiful at Christmast time. The after Christmas sales have been great! I bought a lovely coat for Switzerland. Yes, Switzerland. I'll be there for the next semester. I haven't fully realized the full scope of what this means too. I've been procrastinating about studying French and preparing for the trip. I'll probably be mercilessily reading everything I can on Europe a week before the trip. Okay, I can't believe I AM going to EUROPE!! Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful time ringing in the New Year!8:55 PM 2 Falling Stars Monday, December 04, 2006
End scene.Interim rustling of paper, Silent breathing, audience waiting. Placid sea. Glass freezing the world beneath, and reflecting the stalling world above. A fine, horizontal line, no zig-zag in sight. The past and a future exist, Present must be created, "Wake up destiny, Roll the dice." It's not CandyLand, but passing "Go" would be nice. Maybe buy a red card, build a green house. No one ever thinks the silver thimble gets pricked. Therein lies its suffering. Pain--a gift, stimulating the heart, pumping the veins, revealing the real human. Crimson curtains open.10:25 PM 3 Falling Stars |
